Biography

Zhou Chuande: Chief Physician, Master's Supervisor. Since 1989, he has worked at the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and has been engaged in clinical plastic surgery to date; he was a first-term council member of the Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine Branch and the Female Reproductive Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetics.

Main work and research directions: Minimally invasive facial aesthetic plastic surgery, perineal aesthetic plastic surgery, scar revision, autologous tissue transplantation, organ reconstruction, etc.

To date, as first and corresponding author, he has published more than 10 professional academic papers (in core journals and SCI-indexed journals). He has led and completed two provincial/ministerial-level research projects (1. Study on the role of the pedicle of subdermal vascular network flaps——Youth Research Fund Project of the Ministry of Health; 2. Application of sexually sensitive units in external genital reconstruction——Capital Clinical Characteristic Applied Research). He has led and completed three institute/hospital-level research projects (1. Experimental study on volume expansion of the penile corpus cavernosum; 2. Clinical treatment study of minimally invasive axillary osmidrosis; 3. Standardized analysis and curriculum design for the clinical application of expanded flaps);

He has served as a lecturer in continuing education programs hosted by the Plastic Surgery Hospital (topics: facial rejuvenation and minimally invasive techniques; prefabricated composite eyelid tissue flap for eyelid defect repair; female vulvar aesthetics; vaginal tightening surgery; etiology, diagnosis, and treatment principles of body surface tumors; vaginal reconstruction with skin grafting; animal experimental study of penile lengthening surgery; application of the buried guide suture method in unilateral cleft lip; urethral reconstruction with a scrotal septal flap; diagnosis and treatment principles of intersex disorders; treatment of velopharyngeal overclosure; application of free scapular flap transplantation in lower extremity wound repair; circumcision; etc.); he has also served in postgraduate teaching (topic: application of minimally invasive techniques in female perineal plastic surgery).
